1. Open your XChat Client. When you do so, it will offer you a Network List. Select AbleNET from the list, or add a new entry (name it AbleNET)





2. If you created a new network, add irc server for AbleNET: irc.ablenet.org





3. Enter the auth command to the Connect Commands field (without the slash):
msg AuthServ@Services.AbleNET.org AUTH [account] [password]
XChat only allows one command to be there. If you don't want to hide your hostmask, close the window and connect to the network.
If you do want to hide your hostmask, go to the #4 below





4. Enter the following text to the Connect Command field:
LOAD -e file.txt
Close the window





5. Create a new text document, and enter commands there:
/msg AuthServ@Services.AbleNET.org AUTH [account] [password]
/mode [nickname] +x
Save the document as file.txt to your XChat install directory (C:Program FilesX-Chat 2 by default)





6. Connect to AbleNET Network!
